Air-o-lite is a proudly South African HVAC Company established in 2005 under the current directorship of Grant van Wyk, who has a wealth of experience in the industry being over 20 years post trade tested Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic with a Diploma in Project Management. He started his Air conditioning career at Engen Oil Refinery in early 1996 where he worked many years gaining loads of Experience in Safety and a huge understanding of the Process Industry.
He later moved to the Health Sector heading up the entire Maintenance at St Aidans Mission Hospital with primary focus on Ventilation, Clean Air and Comfort Cooling and implementing Preventative Maintenance procedures which literally saved lives.
It is in these environments, the relevant qualifications coupled with a strong will to succeed, Grant teamed up with like minded individuals and started AIR-O-LITE AIR CONDITIONING. Air-o-lite has offices in Central Durban and Richards Bay.
Our Durban office is where our foundation was laid servicing areas South to Port Shepstone, North to Stanger and in land to Pietermaritzburg. We later established a footing in the the North Coast of Richards Bay. Air-o-lite is 100% Black owned and managed. With a level 1 BBBEE Rating. We are proudly South African and are committed to Empowering our people through education and training.
We consider our staff to be our most Valuable assets in tern offering our clients the benefits of having well trained people on their sites and homes. Air-o-lite Air conditioning has over 50 years of collective air conditioning project installation and industrial maintenance experience through its well seasoned artisans and management staff.
Making us very competent in all aspects within this industry. We have to date never underestimated on any project and are able to promise our clients peace of mind knowing that we will price right, finish on time and most importantly deliver a quality product.
